Apple har tagit ett väldigt bra och trevligt initiativ och hjälpt amerikanska Röda Korset starta en insamling av donationer via iTunes ordinära köp-system vilket underlättar ofantligt för oss som konsumenter att faktiskt göra en skillnad i världen på ett extremt enkelt sätt.

In the face of tragedy, the people of Haiti need your help. Authorities estimate that the devastating earthquake that struck Haiti has affected 3 million people. Hundreds of thousands are feared dead; many more people are injured or without basic supplies of shelter.

Your donation of any size could help save the day by providing food, water, temporary shelter, medical services and emotional support to someone in need.
